LimaCorporate is quite a unique company that mixes pioneering vision with a passionate team and a long know-how background.
Everything started in 1945 with an entrepreneur, Carlo Leopoldo Lualdi, whose passion was movement.
He started producing surgical instruments and orthopedics implants but shortly after expanded to the aerospace industry and the automotive.
When LimaCorporate became focused on orthopedics only, he was among the first to introduce 3D printing machines in the production process of prosthesis and started a long tradition of partnership with surgeons to create the best implants for patients in order to restore the eMotion of Motion.
The ingredients of our success
They have (almost) nothing to do with our products. It’s all about good ideas, good people, and strong heritage.
The final prosthesis that gets implanted in the patient is only the last bit of a long process of design, development, manufacturing, and quality-check. Everything starts with people and brilliant ideas and a sense of common purpose that makes us works together toward the same goal. We know how deeply our implants can change a person’s life. We work with our grandparents in mind, or our friends or even to our future selves, well aware that the more we innovate and get better, the more the people will be able to live a long, healthy, and carefree life.
